CALL for PAPERS
The 7th Biennial New England DWNE conference seeks to explore some ideas for the theme, “The Sweet Getaway” for fun, entertainment, and unwinding. Today women have multiple responsibilities by taking care of their children, their spouses or partners, basic living needs, and their unnecessary errands. However, women would deserve time out for themselves to recharge their energy, attend to their lifestyles, body and spirit essentials.
Papers, reports, work-in-progress and workshops are invited on issues related to the following themes:
- Balance of Lifestyle & Health
- Getting a Life
- Anticipated Paths and Unexpected Turns
- Handmade Crafts
- Understanding Herbs
- Kitchen Table
- Outdoor Exercises
- Alternative Therapies
- Reiki
- Sexuality

The DWNE 2010 committee entirely welcomes the submission of panel proposals. Papers will also be considered on any related theme. At least 300 words abstract should be submitted.
The abstracts may be in Word, WordPerfect, or RTF formats with the following information and in this order:
a) presenter (s),
b) affiliation,
c) email address,
d) title of abstract,
e) body of abstract.
We acknowledge receipt and answer to all paper proposals submitted. If you do not receive a reply from us in a week, you should assume we did not receive your proposal. We suggest, then, to look for an alternative electronic route or resend.
Submission Deadline by Friday, May 28th, 2010
Please note that presenters will be responsible for the costs involving combo tickets, hotel and transportation. |
