DWC Luncheon 2007 - Theme: "Deaf Women's Cup of Tea"
There were over 100 people to attend the first DWC Luncheon Award event on January 13, 2007 at the Avon Farm Hotel. Vikee Waltrip provided the comedy entertainment. Susan Pedersen was the receipient of DWC Woman of the Year 2007 and presented her keynote speech.

DWC Luncheon 2009 - Theme: "Storyland"
There were over 40 people on January 24, 2009. Rose Pizzo shared her life experience as author of her published book, "Growing Up Deaf". Cassandra Boryslawskyj presented her acceptance speech to receive the DWC Woman of the Year 2009.
